Married at First Sight returns to our screens on January 30.

This season, the Channel Nine show will be matching 10 Australian couples before putting their new relationships under the microscope.

While the show does not see contestants get legally married, each couple is paired by experts and goes through the processes of marriage to see if science really can find them the perfect match.

So before we see them meet each other for the first time on their wedding day, FEMAIL takes a look at the glamorous season four brides and their short prom dresses.

Nurse Alene, 31, is looking for someone who can show true commitment and is walking down the aisle in a sleeveless dress with an intricate lace bodice with a tulle skit.

I really like tall guys, and I really like those bigger shoulders.'I've noticed people are very fickle, they want to take things too slow for my liking,' she said. 'They just want to dip their toes; no one wants to jump into the swimming pool into the deep end.'

She takes great pride in her job as a nurse, adding: 'I am a very compassionate person, I like the actual support you give the patients.'

And although she's been single for seven years and has 'never been in love', she knows what she wants: 'I don't want to sound shallow but I really like tall guys, and I really like those bigger shoulders, more muscles.'

Cheryl knows what she wants and won't settle for anything less - and her classic dress reflects that mentality with embroidered bodice and full skirt.

I see myself as a good catch, I know what I bring to the table.Describing herself as 'single by choice', the Gold Coast girl explains that good grooming is important to her but insists she is not 'high maintenance' or 'stuck up.'.

But Cheryl knows she 'could easily have anyone I really wanted.'

'I see myself as a good catch, I know what I bring to the table, I am very loyal, I will do everything for that right person,' Cheryl explained.

Cheryl is looking for a 'masculine guy. 'You know, the ones who know how to change a tyre and do all that blokey stuff,' she said.

Deborah's a free spirit who is finally ready to put down roots but she said it is harder to do at her age.

I'm getting fearful I'm going to be alone for the rest of my life.As a jet-setting model in the 1980s, Deborah lived the high life as she was rushed around the world for photo-shoots, commercials and movies.

She said: 'I didn't really have time to settle down and start a family and a home, otherwise that would be first. Now I'd like to make that first, I'm ready for that.'

'I'm getting fearful I'm going to be alone for the rest of my life, now I want to get married.

'I'd like to have somebody to experience life with and it'd just be nice to be in love.'

She's got her dream dress sorted - a richly embroidered dress with a sweetheart neckline.

Lauren, from Cronulla, NSW, is a fun-loving extrovert, but she's also a single mother to her 11-year-old son, Dylan, and shares custody with her ex.

I come as a package deal and I think guys struggle with that.'I had Dylan when I was 22, I was very young and it wasn't a planned pregnancy,' she explained.

Lauren said that her label as a 'mum' makes it harder to meet people, but she's hoping to meet the man of her dreams dressed in a stunning strapless figure-hugging gown.

'For them to have to take that on, that's a huge responsibility, but I come as a package deal and I think guys struggle with that especially if they haven't had kids themselves,' she said.

Twins Sharon and Michelle stick together in search for perfect partners, but insist they are 'very different.'

The pair, from Western Australia, do everything together and now they're getting married together as well - in matching fishtail gowns with boldly printed bodices.

Despite looking alike, they explain that once you get to know them it's easy to tell them apart. 'We're very different,' Sharon said.

Sharon owns her own commercial cleaning business, while Michele is a bit more of a party girl.

Bubbly Michelle explains that life is pretty good right now and can't get any better. 'Oh wait, it actually could, if I had a guy in it,' she said.

Worth risking your neck

When you begin spotting a retro trend over and over again on Instagram,it’s proof that the trend has gone mainstream. That is precisely the case with chokers — the 90s trend. And when it has made a comeback, it has done so in a totally new avatar. So bid goodbye to the plastic stretchy neck accessory and say hello to ribbon and leather straps for the perfect choker.

As the good 90s style makes it to the spotlight, Instagram darlings are making it popular by pairing them with every look, from swimwear to formal attire, making it almost impossible to let the trend go unnoticed or ignored. Chokers shouldn’t be ignored also for the reason that the recent ones are even more stylish and chic and makes an instant fashion statement when paired appropriately.

According to fashion trend followers ‘The choker began its resurgence along with slip purple prom dresses, grunge and all of the other 90s throwback trends that emerged during last autumn’s catwalks. But unlike some of the others, it’s carried on through to spring, with brands from Saint Laurent to H&M proposing fierce new options both at the high end of the industry and on the high street.’ Of the Indian actors who are making a fashion statement with the choker off-screen mostly are the actors like Alia Bhat, Shraddha Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha. No wonder they made an obvious appearance on the red carpet with Taylor Swift, Kate Hudson, Rosie Huntington and more. Fashion experts also say most celebs are using the choker to add edge to full length gowns and simple bandeau tops alike.

How to style a choker

The styling trick, it seems, lies in what you team your choker with. According to fashionistas, the best way to flaunt the choker is with an off shoulder top, a slip purple prom dress, or just something that exposes the rest of your décolletage so as to balance out the skin to fabric ratio and prevent anyone from looking like they’re actually just wearing a turtleneck.

Though the black chocker is the most commonly seen piece of casual jewellery/accessory, some like to go for jewelled or a little flashy ones. While it might seem easy to pair a black chocker, the shiny chokers can be quite challenging.

Sometimes the plain slender ribbon chokers are also referred to as the slimmest neck scarf and is an ideal informal accessory. Also if you want the instant grunge look go for the choker.

MELANIA TRUMP IS ‘TRYING TOO HARD’ WITH FASHION CHOICES AND NEEDS TO ‘UPGRADE’ HER HAIR, SAYS ‘VOGUE

سه شنبه 14 دی 1395

Melania Trump is “trying too hard” with her fashion choice and needs to “upgrade” her hair, says a renown Vogue editor.

Andre Leon Talley, known as “Monsieur Vogue,” was once closely affiliated with Melania Trump after being attendance with her in Paris to help her choose her Dior wedding gown in 2005. In fact, he flew with her on the Trump plane while on Vogue assignment. He no longer associating himself with the incoming first lady after her husband was elected President of the United States… more on that soon.

As for Melania Trump’s overall style, Andre told the New York Times that she has some tweaks to make in the fashion department and with her hair style.

“Melania, who opted at 3 a.m. for a palazzo jumpsuit, with one arm exposed and a flounce over the other — it seemed to me too Mar-a-Lago, a huge, full-volume jumpsuit. Trying too hard. And I am so tired of the long hair falling on both sides of her face. She has to upgrade her coiffure.”André Leon Talley Thinks Melania Trump Needs to Update Her Hair

— Amy Sheinberg, Ph.D. (@dramysheinberg) December 23, 2016Andre adores the Trump women, calling Melania “soignée and polished” with “impeccable” manners and legs that are “a long drink of water.” He notes that she has an impeccable gift for standing on 4-and-a-half-inch stiletto heels.

“She’s very much like a high, super, superglamorous Stepford Wife.”He wrote an email sent to the Times about distancing himself from Melania Trump, describing it as the “tragedy of ruptured friendships.” Like several fashion designers, Andre doesn’t support “Trumpism.”

“You make the choice to be in Trumpland or you make the choice to eject yourself from the horror of Trumpland. I’ve made my choice not to be part of Trumpland,” Andre said.

What looks can America expect from Melania Trump when she’s First Lady? Andre predicts she’ll appear in “super-cinched waists, hourglass silhouettes and pencil skirts.” He observes that she favors the one-shoulder style, which Jackie Kennedy wore by Oleg Cassini. The Vogue editor continues that Melania evidently opts for “monotone matching coats and beige MarieProm occasion dresses,” and will probably have her hair “always be flying once she goes down the stairs of Air Force One.”

— Mein Stream (@ThisIsMyStream) December 22, 2016Another article by The Inquisitr reveals that Melania Trump’s current hairstyle with her long tresses parted down the middle was chosen to look “more approachable.” Modechai Alvow spoke with the Telegraph about how he and his client came up with style.

“We wanted a constant that allowed America to get to know her in a certain way. She wanted to look approachable. We also wanted her to be comfortable and show the public who she really is.”Alvow has worked with Melania for nine years and has experimented with all sorts of looks that includes “more classic and tougher looks” by blending in smooth and messy textures. He said they’ve discussed cutting “a little” off the ends to “modernize” her look. He hopes they’ll have “fun” with her styles and believes they’ll do just that.

Vogue’s Andre Leon Talley has his say on Melania Trump’s style…

— Telegraph Fashion (@TeleFashion) December 22, 2016If there’s one look America won’t see on Melania Trump, it’s short hair. Alvow said she’s not willing to go much shorter than what her hair is now, so a short bob is out.

“She likes her hair on the longer side. When I told her not to go for a bob, she laughed and agreed it wasn’t for her. We have cut and shaped the hair around her face to highlight her cheekbones, but I think this is as short as she would go.”Melania is rarely seen with curly hair, but with flowy locks that are brushed out to avoid the “done” look, Alvow explained.

Whatever Melania Trump’s style will be as First aLdy, she’ll galvanize the nation.

Jaime King Talks Favorite Beauty Products, SPF 100, Famous Godparents & More!

پنجشنبه 15 مهر 1395

When it comes to beauty trends, Jaime King's philosophy is incredibly refreshing (a.k.a. this is about to be your new mantra). "I think that everybody has to find what works for them," she said. "I want people to have fun playing with trends, but not do it to "stay cool." You're cool because you're you, and I encourage everyone to find their own signature look."

So for that reason (and so many others), we asked Jaime to give us some insight on how she keeps her complexion flawless, her beauty routine concise, her work/life balance stable and her kids grounded (hint: Taylor Swift and Jessica Alba are involved).

ESC: Jaime King

photos:prom dresses

What's your everyday makeup look?

Well, I immediately put on 100 SPF. Even if you're in the sun for 30 seconds, you're at risk for skin cancer. My mom hammered that into me way before people knew about it, so I'm just very conscious about having my SPF on.

Then I usually use a Burberry B.B. foundation mixed with Chanel, which has a bit more coverage. I also then quickly use a Cléu de Peu concealer—if I really haven't gotten much sleep—because, obviously, being a mom and working makes it kind of hard to sleep. I loveChantecaille mascara. I'll put that on, curl my lashes, brush on any kind of creamy, beautiful blush…oh, and brows are a big thing for me, so I use Anastasia who has an incredible brow pen that I like. I try to keep it as simple as possible.

Do you have a signature lip color?

Mine has always been red. Ever since I was a kid, it's always been red. I also feel like it's a very dramatic, classic, beautiful color. When people think about my classic look, I think they see me with clean skin, lashes and a red lip.

What beauty brand are you loving at the moment?

I am a thorough researcher of anything organic in regards to beauty products. It's something I think is incredibly essential and, you know, you're always looking for the one that really works. It truly is a new concept in terms of innovation and when I discovered WEI Beauty, the whole idea of farm-to-face was a real game-changer for me. There's just something about the line that's clean and beautiful and nourishing and elegant—from the packaging to what it actually does for your skin.

I have really dry skin, and there are a lot of things on the market you can put on your skin, but they're all going directly into your body, so it feels really good knowing that I'm putting things into my body that are actually really good for me. Also, I've noticed my skin's been glowing since I started using their products.

Any WEI Beauty product recommendations?

There's a pudding moisturizer that when you put it on, it literally feels like you're drenching your skin in the most incredible moisture. And when you pull the mask out of the packaging, there's so much product left in the tube—it goes far beyond a one-time use. I think it's really cool when a brand is generous with what it is they're packaging. The products are also great for travel! For instance, their Golden Root Purifying Mud Masks come in these little tiny packages, so you can just put them in your travel bags. Put the mask on while you're traveling. I've noticed it doesn't take time for my skin to recover after a long flight anymore because I'm already soaking it with nutrients.

Do you use any "unorthodox" beauty products?

Neat Cheeks—they're Stevia-based wipes to clean your kid's face (or whatever) and I started using them because I ran out of makeup wipes. When it comes to taking off my makeup, they've changed my life. I'll use those and then I'll use WEI Beauty's cleansing products on top of it.

Speaking of your kids, what's it like juggling motherhood and work?

I actually just picked up my son from school (after I raced from a Revlon event to get him) and now he's having a swimming lesson. It's all about the balance.

For me, it's balancing the things that really matter to me and, at the same time, making sure I'm with my children as much as possible. Raising my kids on set has been amazing because they know I'm there, but they're also growing up in an environment where they're surrounded by a lot of different people from a lot of different backgrounds. What I really appreciate about my childhood, growing up in the Midwest, is that I was exposed to a mix of everything and that's so important for them to experience.

Your sons have some pretty amazing (and famous) godparents. Are there particular things you hope they take from each?

James Knight's godmother is Jessica Alba who has been my friend for over a decade. I choose people not because of who they are, but because of who they are are in their heart of hearts, in their soul. It really has nothing to do with the fact they're Taylor Swift or Jessica Alba. It's a collective way of raising your children that has to do with the fact that you're choosing people who will help spiritually guide them and be there—you want them to feel like they have family that are always there.

You know, Jared Eng, who runs Just Jared, is really another godfather. Topher Grace is James Knight's godfather and Leo Thames' godfather is my husband's brother Colin. But Jared is one of the most important figures in their life. He's over every single day, he puts them down to sleep, he is a consistent figure. I think it's really important (whether it be Taylor, Jess or whomever) that you have consistency in your life.

And they're gathering things from all these beautiful people. You know, when Leo hears Taylor's music he understands she writes those things and she brings those things. They feel the love and the support, and that's the most important thing.

BLAKE SHELTON AND GWEN STEFANI WEDDING DETAILS: WE ALREADY KNOW WHO SCORED AN INVITE!

Gwen Stefani has big plans before the year is out. Nothing official has been announced, but Stefani and Blake Shelton are reportedly preparing for a wedding before 2017. Who will get invited to the big ceremony?

During an interview with People, Voice producer Mark Burnett admitted that he wants an invitation to Shelton and Stefani’s wedding.

photos:formal dresses

“I’m really hoping that I get invited to the wedding,” Burnett shared.

Burnett also expressed his surprise in how Shelton’s romance with Stefani blossomed on the hit singing competition and how he didn’t see any of it coming.

“I had no idea by coming to work on a fun music show they would find the loves of their life, and the light exploded and they are happier than you can imagine,” he said. “We are thrilled to be their friends and see the happiness.”

Shelton and Stefani started dating right after they both filed for divorce last summer. Shelton parted ways with Miranda Lambert, while Stefani broke things off with Gavin Rossdale.

When the soon-to-be couple went back to work on The Voice last fall, they immediately hit it off and haven’t looked back since. Their relationship is going so well that many expect a wedding is right around the corner.

“They are not engaged yet,” an inside source revealed. “Everyone is expecting it to happen at some point, though.”

According to CBS News, the wedding might take place before the year is out.

“They want to get married before the end of the year,” an inside source shared.

So far, neither Blake Shelton nor Gwen Stefani have commented on their upcoming nuptials.

When Stefani appeared on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show last week, Us Weekly reports that she hesitated when theAmerican Idol alum questioned her about marriage.

“Everything is going so quickly,” Stefani said on On Air with Ryan Seacrest. “I’m in the moment and, um… look at me, you’ve got me tongue-tied.”

Stefani continued, “I look at this year and I think, I just feel so awake. I feel so alive and grateful. This year has been so full of so much joy.”

Based on Stefani’s comments, it seems like only a matter of time before she gets hitched with Shelton.

If Stefani and Shelton are planning a wedding, they apparently haven’t broken the news to close friends and family.

“If there is a wedding date, they haven’t told their families yet,” an insider stated.

Despite keeping everything a secret, the source added that Stefani and the country crooner constantly discuss their future and how they want to spend the rest of their lives together. The No Doubt alum even knows how she wants the wedding to play out.

“Gwen has said they both want something more low-key than their first wedding,” a source indicated. “It would likely be at Blake’s ranch [in Oklahoma] or in the backyard. Gwen doesn’t really care, she is just in love with Blake and their life together.”

Aside from the wedding, the couple is reportedly talking about expanding their family. Stefani had three kids with Rossdale — Kingston (10), Zuma (8), and Apollo (2) — and allegedly wants to have a daughter with Shelton.

While Stefani plans the ceremony, In Touch Weekly is reporting that Shelton built her a massive tropical themed mansion for a wedding gift.

The Hawaiian-style estate rests on the banks of Lake Texoma, Oklahoma and features a large outdoor party area, a gorgeous pool, palm trees, accented shutters and doors, and three small huts.

Fans can watch Shelton in action when new episodes of The Voice air Monday nights on NBC.

Tell us! Do you think Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani will wed before the end of the year? Let us know in the comments below.

The mission of the Chamber Main Street Lehigh Valley Project is to improve every Main Street in the Valley by investments in facade improvements, streetscape designs, sidewalk beautification and other visual enhancements.

On Monday night, Kanye West's Saint Pablo tour hit Madison Square Garden and Mrs. Kardashian West was in the building. Kim and daughter North showed up in matching mirrorball formal dresses and it was, actually, everything. They showed up, they showed out, they gave you enough refracted light to read by.

This is 100 percent drag. And I mean that as the highest compliment I can pay next to saying "You are actually Beyoncé."

I cannot even handle all of this casual glamour. These Mirror, Mirror at the Ball lewks are just beyond.

Like these outfits, I need to just reflect for a moment.

These two came ready. They rolled out of the limo like Patti LaBelle on Dancing with the Stars and the trophy.

Kim was wearing a knee-length, skin-tight mirrorball dress. She's giving you Studio 54 board meeting. For when you run a company, but you also run the night.

The perfect lewk for when you have to go from your day gig interning on Wall Street to your night job as part of the set of Cher's latest tour.

North had a slightly more conservative look. Her sequined gown was looser and almost hit the ground. I call this Donna Summer on Rumspringa.

Yes, you better live that "I'm living in the future so the present is my past" life all day, please.

I spent all morning liking Back to School photos of all my friends kids and now I have to go back and unlike all of them because they are worthless compared to this. Do you have kids? Did you send them to school wearing an evening gown made of hundreds of tiny reflective squares? Are you helping them to live their Montessori mirrorball truth?

If the answer is no, you need to reevaluate your life. Your whole life. Not just the kids part. That job you took in high school. The kind of detergent you use. Your cable plan. What you packed for lunch. Everything. Go back to the beginning and start again. Do not pass GO. Do not collect 200,000 mirrors.

Honestly, how do you expect your kids to make any friends this school year if you're not formal dresses uk them like they're actual MTV Video Music Awards? Are your children winners or not?
