From sultry strappy numbers to fishtails and plunging necklines
Married at First Sight returns to our screens on January 30.
This season, the Channel Nine show will be matching 10 Australian couples before putting their new relationships under the microscope.
While the show does not see contestants get legally married, each couple is paired by experts and goes through the processes of marriage to see if science really can find them the perfect match.
So before we see them meet each other for the first time on their wedding day, FEMAIL takes a look at the glamorous season four brides and their short prom dresses.
Nurse Alene, 31, is looking for someone who can show true commitment and is walking down the aisle in a sleeveless dress with an intricate lace bodice with a tulle skit.
I really like tall guys, and I really like those bigger shoulders.'I've noticed people are very fickle, they want to take things too slow for my liking,' she said. 'They just want to dip their toes; no one wants to jump into the swimming pool into the deep end.'
She takes great pride in her job as a nurse, adding: 'I am a very compassionate person, I like the actual support you give the patients.'
And although she's been single for seven years and has 'never been in love', she knows what she wants: 'I don't want to sound shallow but I really like tall guys, and I really like those bigger shoulders, more muscles.'
Cheryl knows what she wants and won't settle for anything less - and her classic dress reflects that mentality with embroidered bodice and full skirt.
I see myself as a good catch, I know what I bring to the table.Describing herself as 'single by choice', the Gold Coast girl explains that good grooming is important to her but insists she is not 'high maintenance' or 'stuck up.'.
But Cheryl knows she 'could easily have anyone I really wanted.'
'I see myself as a good catch, I know what I bring to the table, I am very loyal, I will do everything for that right person,' Cheryl explained.
Cheryl is looking for a 'masculine guy. 'You know, the ones who know how to change a tyre and do all that blokey stuff,' she said.
Deborah's a free spirit who is finally ready to put down roots but she said it is harder to do at her age.
I'm getting fearful I'm going to be alone for the rest of my life.As a jet-setting model in the 1980s, Deborah lived the high life as she was rushed around the world for photo-shoots, commercials and movies.
She said: 'I didn't really have time to settle down and start a family and a home, otherwise that would be first. Now I'd like to make that first, I'm ready for that.'
'I'm getting fearful I'm going to be alone for the rest of my life, now I want to get married.
'I'd like to have somebody to experience life with and it'd just be nice to be in love.'
She's got her dream dress sorted - a richly embroidered dress with a sweetheart neckline.
Lauren, from Cronulla, NSW, is a fun-loving extrovert, but she's also a single mother to her 11-year-old son, Dylan, and shares custody with her ex.
I come as a package deal and I think guys struggle with that.'I had Dylan when I was 22, I was very young and it wasn't a planned pregnancy,' she explained.
Lauren said that her label as a 'mum' makes it harder to meet people, but she's hoping to meet the man of her dreams dressed in a stunning strapless figure-hugging gown.
'For them to have to take that on, that's a huge responsibility, but I come as a package deal and I think guys struggle with that especially if they haven't had kids themselves,' she said.
Twins Sharon and Michelle stick together in search for perfect partners, but insist they are 'very different.'
The pair, from Western Australia, do everything together and now they're getting married together as well - in matching fishtail gowns with boldly printed bodices.
Despite looking alike, they explain that once you get to know them it's easy to tell them apart. 'We're very different,' Sharon said.
Sharon owns her own commercial cleaning business, while Michele is a bit more of a party girl.
Bubbly Michelle explains that life is pretty good right now and can't get any better. 'Oh wait, it actually could, if I had a guy in it,' she said.
